Blank/Black Screen

Some users report that the Filament app loads to a blank screen instead of the expected content. After launching (or returning to) the app, the screen stays empty, with no study notes, navigation, or content rendering. The app appears to open but nothing usable displays, which blocks the user from getting into their library or study content.

The issue has been seen across different sessions and does not always tie to a specific passage or action.

In most cases it can be cleared by standard recovery steps (fully closing and reopening the app, restarting the device, confirming the OS is up to date and supported, and reinstalling if needed), but it recurs often enough to be worth tracking. We want to identify what triggers the blank state and whether it correlates with a specific device, OS version, or app version.
